We returned late Saturday afternoon from Victoria. All 67 who left returned safe and sound, and as one student put it, “I had a lot of fun, and I even learned some things!” What more can we ask from a field trip? A safe trip with kids who had a great time and learned some things along the way. We were all happy that it didn’t rain, and everyone did great at being where they were supposed to be, when they were supposed to be there. The BC Aviation Museum was met with rave reviews from the 10s, and one of my personal highlights was our tour with Susan at Government House: SALVE!! I am looking forward to hearing more feedback from the students tomorrow, but all of the chaperones were very proud of all the students and we are glad we were able to share the experience with them.

If you are in grade 10-11, it’s time to pack for our annual Social Studies trip to Victoria! We leave nice and early Thursday morning, and the forecast looks great (much better than Chilliwack, but we shouldn’t rub that in). Come ready for a great time of learning and hanging out with your classmates; it’s going to be fantastic!

This week, we have Service Day on Thursday, and Pro-D on Friday!

The long weekend has officially started and Term 3 has officially ended.
Enjoy your weekend as you consider what Easter is really all about:
Jesus’ sacrifice for us.
What an amazing thought to consider how much He went through for each of us!

This the last week of Term 3 and also an extra short week.
We have early dismissal on Thursday after the Easter Assembly, then Friday and Monday are holidays due to Easter. Make sure all your Term 3 work is submitted by Thursday morning at the latest, then you can enjoy the nice long weekend and take time for family and for remembering what Jesus’ sacrifice means for us.

If you signed up to help at the Soup Kitchen on Monday – thanks! Make sure to arrive by 9am. It will be great fun.
